Dr. Carey Guise graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 and has been treating dogs and cats in Bucks County ever since. She is a Council Rock graduate and is excited to continue caring for pets in the community in which she grew up. Carey currently lives in Newtown with her husband Eric, sons Beau and Boone, and furry son, a miniature dachshund named Pruitt. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, pilates, and time with friends and family. “It is my mission in life to care for animals and offer guidance to the people who love them. Our practice is different because of the bonds our staff members have with our patients and their human parents. They are all part of our extended family.”

Dr. Susan Stavros, formerly Rourke, has been in the Newtown area since 1974.  She attended Villanova University and graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2000.  Susan has practiced small animal medicine for over 15 years in the local area.  When not working, she enjoys time with family and friends, exercising, and reading.  Susan has two dogs-her SPCA specials, Jagger and Daisy, a cockatiel, and two fish tanks.  "I cannot see myself in any other profession, not only due to my life long love of animals, but because of the special bonds formed with my clients--they are like family."
