Sue Boyce-Wunderle
Sue is a veterinary technician and receptionist at Holland Vet Care. She has a degree in veterinary technology from Harcum College and did her practicum at University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Hospital. While she enjoys every aspect of her job, her passion is surgery with an emphasis on dentistry. When not at the office, Sue loves spending time with her husband Frank, kids Ken and Lisa, and daughter in law Laura. She is owned by a great Frenchie, Nadi. Sue enjoys baking, reading, and old black and white movies.

Jeanette Morrison-Vergis
Jeanette is a veterinary technician at Holland Vet Care. She lives here in Bucks County on a small farm with her family. Her lifelong love of animals shows in the menagerie of pets she cares for ranging from reptiles and chickens to dogs and cats. She enjoys the outdoors, art, and reading in her free time. Jeanette has worked in the veterinary field for 20 years. She has mostly worked in small animal practice but has also worked in emergency and is certified in small animal massage. Jeanette’s passion is for our senior patients and end of life care. In the future she would like to get involved in physical therapy to further assist in caring for our old friends.

Stephanie Bray
Stephanie Is very excited to be a part of the HVC family. She has worked as a vet tech for 8 years, gaining vast experience in the field. Stephanie is anxious to pursue continuing education as she has a passion for advancing her care for animals. Stephanie is married to husband Rob and has dedicated most of her life to caring for her children and animals. She is very proud to have raised sons, Robbie and David, who have grown into fine young men.  Throughout the years the Bray’s have adopted 5 cats and 3 dogs. Currently the 4 legged family consists of a sweet rescue cat Dawn, and 3 adorable rescue beagles Rocky, Mandy, and Heidi. In her spare time Stephanie enjoys Zumba and time outdoors enjoying the seasons. She loves playing in the snow, planting in the garden, toes in the sand, floating in the pool, bike rides in the fall, spending time with family and friends, long walks with hubby and the beagles, cuddling with the kitties, and being home.

Heather Worman
Heather has been a veterinary technician for 8 years and is enjoying every moment! What she likes most about her job is caring for and helping all of HVC’s patients. Heather is excited to help the team continually develop ways to make patients’ visits less stressful. Heather is currently taking courses for the practitioner program at Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute and has also completed a course in aromatherapy. Heather is married to Mike and has 4 children Michael, Jaymee, Andrew, and Zakary and grandson Demitri. Her furry family consists of Finn, a border collie mix; two cats Drama and Belle; and six chickens Mable, Maude, Lucille, Vera, Pearl, and Winnie. When Heather is not working she enjoys warm weather, spending weekends down the shore with family, camping and hiking with Mike and Finn, scary movies, and or course hanging with the chickies!

Dr. Carey Guise graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 and has been treating dogs and cats in Bucks County ever since. She is a Council Rock graduate and is excited to continue caring for pets in the community in which she grew up. Carey currently lives in Newtown with her husband Eric, son Beau, and furry son, a miniature dachshund named Pruitt. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, zumba, and time with friends and family. “It is my
mission in life to care for animals and offer guidance to the people who love them. Our practice is different because of the bonds our staff members have with our patients and their human parents. They are all part of our extended family.”

Dr. Susan Stavros, formerly Rourke, has been in the Newtown area since 1974.  She attended Villanova University and graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2000.  Susan has practiced small animal medicine for over 15 years in the local area.  When not working, she enjoys time with family and friends, exercising, and reading.  Susan has two dogs-her SPCA specials, Jagger and Daisy, a cockatiel, and two fish tanks.  "I cannot see myself in any other profession, not only due to my life long love of animals, but because of the special bonds formed with my clients--they are like family."
